Morgan grew up in the Belvue community his whole life farming with his father, Greg on their row crop operation. Morgan is a 6th generation farmer but from a young age he knew he wanted to be involved in the auction business as well as farm. Greg took Morgan to auctions frequently growing up and eventually he began helping local auctioneers when he was about 12 or 13 years old. Morgan is alumni of Wamego High School. After high school Morgan continued farming with Greg and working for several local auctioneers whom he was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from. In 2018 Morgan became a realtor® with Foundation Realty of Manhattan where he proudly hangs his license today. Morgan’s core value he believes to be most important is ethics. Greg is a lifelong resident of the Belvue community as well. Growing up farming with his father and uncle tending to livestock, hay, and crops. A 1982 graduate of Wamego Greg went on to work at Balderson’s (now Caterpillar) until becoming a police officer in Wamego in 1989 and then a Deputy at the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office shortly after. Greg gained experience in many different areas at the Sheriff’s Office before running for the position of Sheriff in 2000. Greg was elected as Sheriff of Pottawatomie County and served 5 consecutive terms as Sheriff before retiring in December of 2019, logging in for 31 years at the Sheriff’s office. After following his tenure as Sheriff, he served 2 terms as County Commissioner as well. Greg may officially be “retired” he’s not nearly close to being done working. Greg farms with his son Morgan just North of Belvue on top of Auctioning the last several years as well.
